Art Deco Stained Glass Window.
The restricted light level from a narrow Light-Well defined the glass choice for this Art Deco Stained Glass Window. It exploits glass textures and tones to obscure the unwanted ‘View’ beyond of drainpipes, air conditioning units and the windows of other apartments.
Created as a visual focal point upon entering a refurbished London apartment in Knightsbridge, the design of this lead glazed bay window incorporates reeded, textured and dichroic glass.
The narrow shafts of dichroic glass transmit a changeable colour phenomenon with projected light during daylight and different mirror-like reflected colour when surface lit at night.
